Formula Drift in Las Vegas was one of the hottest events I have ever attended. Seriously, this 117 degree weather was inhumane for all the media people. Eventually the sun came down and it helped cool things down exponentially. It was also very nice to see Rhys Millen win this event as he was someone I was always watching drive while I was getting into the drifting scene. Congrats to him Darren McNamara and Matt Powers.
Yes, take a deep breath it’s okay. It’s called fresh air something we SoCal residents don’t get on a daily basis. One of the best things about visiting Seattle is that I literally look forward to breathing fresh air. The city is a wonderful place and people are so friendly.
My first time meeting Charley, he was sitting across from me in a job interview. Charley was interviewing me for a position that I actually didn’t get, but all I could think in my head is damn he has a lot facial hair for someone who looks like they could still be in high school. I, unfortunately ended up working with Charley anyways. Now four years later I had the greatest honor in capturing his and Sarah’s wedding at the Chicago Bontanic Garden. I couldn’t be happier to see these two get married and I hope they enjoy these pictures as much as I’ve enjoyed their friendship.
