Formula Drift Last Vegas is probably the hardest event to photograph each year. Between the 100′ degree temperature, gambling, and many things I can’t speak outside of Las Vegas itself. I don’t even know how the drivers stayed so focus. Especially Mister Rhys Millen who won this event and now has won Vegas in back to back years. This year’s event was insane with the sun, random rainstorm, and heavy winds, I’m just glad I made it home safely.

One word sums up everything about Formula D Vegas this year, HOT!
It was two blistering hot 110 degree temperature days in Vegas and the action was pretty nuts as a few cars wrecked during practice and qualifying. I’m happy to be back home where it’s just a miserable 82 degrees, but here are some shots from the event.

Day 2 of Formula D Atlanta was even more amazing than qualifying. 1st place went to Daijiro Yoshihara, 2nd place Vaughn Gitten Jr, 3rd place Chris Forsberg. The final standings and current points leader can be found here on Formula D’s website.
